On the third day of the 2020 awards, the Loeries awarded the Radio Audio, Radio Crafts as well as the student awards in partnership with Facebook. This student award category is for tertiary students across Africa and the Middle East to provide work showcasing electronic and physical media content. Instagram's 10th birthday celebration and Facebook's talk "Diversity and Inclusion: Real Talk with Moose" were among the main highlights of Tuesday 17th November, together with Howler's "Data Inspires Creativity" talk at Loeries Creative Week 2020. Other sessions included thought-provoking topics and confronted important issues of misrepresentation, transformation, diversity, and gender disparity impacting the brand communication industry. The Loeries awarded winners in the Digital Communication category as well as Media Innovation and the Brand South Africa Young Creative Award on the second day. Below is an art piece by the talented Alicia McFadzean (Cheeky Observer). The vehicle, which was in a burnt state prior to the artwork, was torched on 6 May in an attempt to discourage Sea Point residents Peter and Lesley Wagenaar - the owners of the car - from feeding homeless people. McFadzean said she was delighted by the opportunity to transform the exterior of the Mini into an artwork that is reflective of the Wagenaars' ethos....

Toyota Motors Europe has unveiled the C-HR GR Sport inspired by it's performance-focused GR models. The model, first launched in 2016 has had an impact on the C-SUV segment, recording a sale of 120,000 units in its first year Europe. The Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (MOCAA) recently reopened with Home Is Where The Art Is: Art Is Where The Home Is, a proudly Capetonian exhibition, which showcases around 2,000 artworks from Cape Town-based professional and amateur artists, children, collectors and others.

The Mhondoro Safari Lodge & Villa in Limpopo has successfully opened an organic food production at its Platbank farm near the Welgevonden Game Reserve. The farm produces a wide variety of vegetables that include spinach, beetroot, pumpkins, carrots, tomatoes, peppers, and onions, as well as herbs and salad greens, while the farming of free-range chickens produces free-range eggs in abundance. With the closure of the lodge due to the coronavirus lockdown regulations, all the farm's produce is being donated to the local community, including to the Bushveld Mission Children's Home outside Vaalwater, which provides shelter to 60 orphaned, abandoned, abused and starving children the aged from newborn to 18 years old and is staffed by 15 volunteers....
