Medical Aid Broker Commission
Broker commission is under fire and might be removed. This will mean that brokers will have to ask their medical clients a fee additional to their monthly premium.
In September 2008 there where discussion regarding the removal of broker commission on health cases. At present clients are not aware of the commission structured in their monthly premium. If this ammendmend is approved it will mean that brokers will have to ask clients a monthly service fee on top of their current medical aid bill. Now, most clients can not afford their current medical aid premiums, never mind an extra broker fee. I would like to appeal to anyone and everyone who has a medical aid to protest this ammendment.
