Tru-Cape's Pieter Graaff named Western Cape Farmer of the Year
Tru-Cape Fruit Marketing's chairman Pieter Graaff has been named by the Agricultural Writers Association as the 2018 Western Cape Farmer of the Year. He is now in line for the national title of South African Farmer of the Year, expected later in November.

In commending Graaff, the association said that Graaff, through his Witzenberg Properties holdings, is the single biggest apple producer in South Africa with a 2018 production of 46,783 tonnes.
