According to Dr György Polgár, head of the animal health business unit in Southern Africa, “this move will allow Bayer to concentrate efforts on the company’s core activities which includes the production and marketing of veterinary anti-parasiticides as well as other veterinary preparations.”
In line with this, Sudox, Bayer’s revolutionary new broad spectrum parasiticide for cattle and sheep, will be available in South Africa in early May. The formulations of Brutel, Lintex and Endotape (Brutel-S, Lintex-S and Endotape-S) will also be made available soon. In addition, Bayer’s new range of animal health products for both farm and companion animals are planned to be launched during the second half of this year.
“Bayer has always offered veterinarians and farmers innovative medicines and solutions that contribute to the quality of life, health and well-being of farm animals around the world and this commitment is set to be further strengthened with our Animal Health product line-up for 2016,” concludes Dr Polgár.
