Organised by IC Events, the objective of the forum will be to assess the role of the ICC and its achievements to date highlighting the major issues at play and its impact in Africa. It will provide a forum for all those involved in international justice practice to share ideas, lessons learned, future challenges and explore possible constructive avenues on how to deliver better justice and bridge the growing gap regarding the ICC's role in contributing to transitional justice, accountability, peace and reconciliation.

The event has already grabbed the attention of the international law community with speakers including Hon. Lady Justice Sophia A. B. Akuffo, Vice President, African Court on Human and People's, Donald Deya, CEO, Pan African Lawyers Union, Prof. Thandika Mkandawire, former director of the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development, and Charles Taylor's trial lawyer Courtney Griffiths.
