Internet and Social Media Summit to gather ICT heavyweights
The Internet and Social Media Summit is to be held in Cape Town on 27 July, and will bring together local and international industry thought leaders to help organisations catapult their current social media and ICT strategies to the next level. The Summit will act as a platform to strategise and discuss topical ICT issues, trends, innovative ideas and online communication issues.

The one-day event has been designed with a tight schedule, allowing more time for networking between delegates. The Summit will feature keynote presentations, a panel discussion and talks from experts in the ICT field from both private and public sectors, including:
• James Devine - Project Isizwe
• Luvuyo Rani - Silulo Ulutho Technologies
• Ross Adami - UBER SA
• Micheal Goodman - Via Africa
• Tony Smallwood and Anthon Muller - Vodacom
• Rudi Matjokana - Microsoft
Also in attendance will be the leaders from large ICT bodies such as The Black IT Forum (BITF), The Information Technology Association of South Africa (ITA) and The Computer Society of South Africa (CSSA) together with various government leaders from the Western Cape.
