Software AG to showcase global IT first at 2015 innovation day
Taking place at UrbanTREE in Johannesburg on the 23 July 2015, this year's Software AG Innovation Day is themed around the organisation's industry first, the Digital Business Platform. This industry-changing solution has sparked widespread interest and discussion, and is the ideal platform from which to showcase the latest and most advanced software and technology.
The South African leg of this year's Software AG Innovation Day will be hosted by well-known technology guru and personality, Simon Dingle, and will feature a variety of prominent and influential speakers, including IDC research manager, Lise Hagen and renowned scenario strategist, Chantell Ilbury. "Global and local speakers will take part in a number of interactive activities such as one-on-one sessions with expert product and solution analysts, case studies and demonstrations, as well as candid round table best-practice discussions," explains Mohamed Cassoojee, vice president and country manager at Software AG South Africa.
Cassoojee goes on to say that the organisation has aimed to change the traditional ICT conference format in favour of a more varied and interactive programme, whereby attendees are able to access the information most relevant to their specific interests, in 'byte-size' format. "Attendees at our Innovation Days have come to expect only the most stimulating and fascinating of subject matter from our event, and we are exceedingly proud to unveil the unmatched innovation of Software AG's Digital Business Platform to our South African audience," says Cassoojee.
"As businesses around the globe make the shift from stable and safe to agile and fast, industries have had to meet new challenges with innovative approaches to business software design, development and deployment in order to stand out in the digital economy. This has been the key driver in the launch of the Software AG Digital Business Platform, which offers attainable solutions to today's rapidly digitising economies and new competitive landscape."
Launched globally at this year's CeBIT, the world's largest IT expo, the local unveiling of the world's first Digital Business Platform at Innovation Day is set to change the face of the industry, and alter the expectations of the private and public sectors.
"The Digital Business Platform holds significant potential for a wide range of departments in South African business, from CEOs and CIOs who have a wide and strategic range of needs, to managers required to implement flexible and adaptive solutions at an individual or departmental level," says Cassoojee.
