Zuma submits report to Parliament

In a statement on Wednesday, the Presidency said given that three state agencies or institutions - the Public Protector, the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security Cluster of Cabinet and the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) - have all inquired into the same matter, the President has decided that he will give full and proper consideration to all the matters before him.
Upon receipt of the SIU report, President Zuma will give Parliament a further report on the "decisive executive interventions that he would consider to be appropriate".
"The President remains concerned about the allegations of maladministration and impropriety around procurement in the Nkandla project, in particular the allegations of cost inflation," said the Presidency.
The Public Protector's report was released two weeks ago and President Zuma was given two weeks to respond to Parliament.
