Western Cape universities launch survey to trace past students

The survey, which is being conducted under the auspices of the Cape Higher Education Consortium (CHEC), is aiming to reach 24 000 graduates who acquired their degrees and diplomas in 2010 from the four universities.

The main purpose of the survey is to better understand the varied pathways into work for the graduates of the universities. It is anticipated that the findings of the survey will assist the universities to formulate strategies to improve the link between education and employment for the benefit of future generations of students.

The universities wish to reach as many of their 2010 graduates as possible with the e-mail survey, which can also be accessed by graduates on the Internet at www.chec.co.za.
