Get nutty about science in “The Magic of Science” at the Rand Show 2017
International science education brand the Nutty Scientists brings a new interactive science show full of magical reactions and explosive fun to the Rand Show 2017.
From 14-23 April 2017, there’s going to be a great deal of oohing and aahing when the Nutty Scientists present a marvellous science show on the Rand Show’s Science & Technology stage.
Professor Awsum of the Nutty Scientists loves nothing better than igniting a passion for science in kids, something the new show – “The Magic of Science” – is sure to do.
She has a number of tricks up her lab coat sleeve that will keep audiences guessing. Assisted by volunteers from the audience, she will delight young and old with a zany, action-packed hour of experiments that will show that what looks like magic is more often than not just science at work.
There’ll be loads of chemical reactions, hydrogen explosions, rockets, static electricity, and dry ice experiments.
The Nutty Scientists’ daily shows will be interspersed by The Wonderful World of Why workshops. In these interactive science workshops, kids can perform experiments such as making elephant toothpaste and causing chemical reactions, and many more.
These exciting shows and workshops add a splash of the scientific to the great lineup of top-class entertainment at this year’s Rand Show. South Africa’s biggest consumer expo is the only show to offer attractions covering everything from sport, motoring, military, and science and technology, to design, animals, gardening, health and beauty, and variety shows... there’s an entire day out for the whole family packed into each Rand Show ticket.
