Kool & the Gang have sold more than 70 million albums over 35 years; and have had the same line-up for over 30 years: Robert "Kool" Bell, brother Khalis Bayyan, Dennis "DT" Thomas, George "Funky" Brown, and past members are Robert "Spike" Mickens, the late Charles Smith, Ricky West and Woody Sparrow.
