Nicci Beach says Farewell to Summer

On Sunday, 2 May, Nicci Beach will bid farewell to summer with the final Miami White of the season. The event will be held in Boksburg, Johannesburg and will feature the godfather of house music, Miami Master, Oscar G.

Miami is home to Oscar G and where he plays to thousands of fans every week at Club Space. This star of US dance music has a unique sound that is deep yet pumping, fun yet serious. It's full-on house, yet something about it surpasses all genre stereotypes and turns every set into an unforgettable music experience.

Oscar G's roots lie firmly in dance music history, but as an artist he's not comfortable with letting the voices of the past speak alone. His initial following came about due to his smash success with Funky Green Dogs, then on to Murk with the venerable Ralph Falcon as production partner.

Oscar G will be complemented by regular music masters Roger d'Lux, Ricardo da Costa, Household Funk, Nick Essential, plus a super set from the man himself, DJ Fresh.

Sunday, 2 May, 2010, at the Nicci Beach Ultra Lounge, Wild Waters Complex, 1 Margaret Lane, Boksburg, Jjoburg. Doors open at 2pm and the dress code is strictly all-white. There is a cover charge of R100. VIP Cardholders' special rates are ladies R50/gents R70.
