The programme will consist of Chopin's most famous piano music and compositions for duo and trio, and will feature Susan Mouton, principal cellist with the JPO, who will play the Sonata for Cello and Piano Opus 58 with pianist Charl du Plessis, who was recently given the honour of being named an official Steinway artist.
Violinist Zanta Hofmeyr will complete the trio when they perform the Piano Trio Opus 8. Other enduring favourites on the programme include the Minute Waltz and Military Polonaise.
The concert begins at 4pm at the Promusica Theatre, located at the Civic Centre in Florida Park, Roodepoort. Tickets cost R100 from Computicket and at the theatre.
