Zonke, Mafikizolo to perform at new Tribute To Women concert

Festival director Joe Chakela says: “I have been producing the Divas event at Macufe for many years and I have seen it grow into on a prime event. It was the obvious next step was to provide a regular platform with which to celebrate and showcase the talent at a concert in Johannesburg where I live. I could not think of a more central and scenically beautiful space than the Emmarentia Botanical Gardens for an afternoon out with the family or friends with a picnic basket enjoying our diverse lineup.”

The show encourages a picnic blanket and basket feel and attendees will be able to bring their own food and non-alcoholic soft bottled beverages into the event. For those who would prefer to purchase food and beverages on arrival, there will be a wide variety of gourmet and local food vendors available as well as fully stocked bars.
