New clothing sponsor for Tens Series
Cape Town Tens and the new Jozi Tens tournament have announced that Time Clothing is the new apparel partner of the rugby tournament for the year. The local clothing manufacturing company based in East London, has been recognised for the last 15 years as a leading rugby kit supplier within South Africa and abroad. It is also the clothing sponsor of SARLA (SA Rugby Legends Association) and these teams are regularly seen on overseas tours in their sponsored wear.
Through its Flya Sportswear brand, it will be providing the Tens rugby teams with their rugby jerseys, shorts and socks for the tournaments. The Tens rugby teams can look forward to an assortment of rugby jersey designs, styles and patterns they can choose from, including personalised names.
The rugby jerseys will be debuted in the upcoming Jozi Tens tournament - the new addition to the Tens Series - which will be taking place on 14-15 September 2012 at Pirates Rugby Club in Johannesburg. The tournament is the first in Johannesburg and one of several more in the country to come as Cape Town Tens expands its horizons.
"We are proud to have such a local company on board," says Ron Rutland, tournament director of the Tens Series. "The company does a lot for the community in East London by providing jobs to individuals in the settlement Mdantsane, sponsoring rugby kit to impoverished rugby teams and encouraging Eastern Cape club teams to compete in the annual Time Clothing Rugby Festival. We look forward to this partnership, as well as the array of rugby jerseys that will be exhibited in the upcoming tournaments."
