Some of Durban's most exciting DJs and artists - as well as SA's rising female hip hop star - will feature on the bill at Jack Daniel's Boomtown, at the Vodacom Durban July on the 4 July. Thirteen additional acts have been announced to complement the already star-studded line-up.
Durban's own WTF, Aewon Wolf, Gemini, Breeze, DJ Feel, Benny Maverick, Chynaman and Gagasi FM's TP and Vumar have been added to give that local flare. Hip hop fans will be pleased to know that Jozi's DJ Speedsta has also been included, along with up-and-coming rapper and Jack Daniel's Music Scouts 2014 winner Gigi Lamayne. The super-talented newcomer Gigi will perform her hit single Ice Cream.
The previously announced line-up includes hip hop royalty Cassper Nyovest, AKA, Da L.E.S, KO, Riky Rik, Okmalumkoolkat and Dreamteam alongside DJ Dimplez and the Major League DJs, superstar DJs Fresh and Black Coffee, international exports Mafikizolo, Uhuru and Black Motion.
Apart from the music, Jack Daniel's Boomtown offers premium lounges with luxurious design and décor in addition to the frontline views of the race track. Prizes will be given for the best dressed couple.
