Launch of debut album from Wolftown
The CD launch of debut album from Wolftown, "Soul on Fire", will take place on Friday, 26 July, 2013, at the Harley-Davidson Club, 46a Canterbury Street (Cnr Canterbury and Constitution Street), Cape Town at 8pm. The cover charge for the public is R30.
Wolftown`s CD launch promises to be a night of fun, with burlesque dancers, a snake charmer, pole dancers and more surprises leading up to the band's performance.
Some of the special guest stars for the evening include gorgeous burlesque dancers Lady Magnolia and Penny Pinup, Miss Scar-lit Heart and Hedwig Taylor, who will have you in awe with their pole dancing, Kash, introducing you to the mystery of tribal fusion dancing, funky DJ DearMrsPanda and elegant snake charmer - with a snake - Natalie.
Settle Down on album
Wolftown launched their first single, Settle Down, in 2012 with great success. The track was part of an EP release of three songs that were mastered in London by Kevin Metcalfe, who has worked with The White Stripes, David Bowie, The Sex Pistols, The Police, U2 and more.
Settle Down played on 5fm (SA), featuring at number three on Jon Savage's rock chart and received a 93% Hot public rating on the Fresh Drive Show. The track also reached the number one position on Tuks fm and 2Oceansvibe Radio. The track will also be available on the album.
