The Frown's "Teenage Swim", track by track

The Frown's short-and-sweet seven-track second album is an immersion into a creatively twisted techno twinkly nightmare, carefully and creatively constructed by singer Eve Rakow's eerie little girl voice and Klein Bass's beat constructions.
The Frown's "Teenage Swim", track by track

    Short-and-sweet track by track

Folie à Deux: A meandering seductive stream of shared psychoses layer this opening track into something supremely dancey and disturbing.

Dark Art: A high retro reminiscence. Deep inky darkness is counteracted with a chirpily pure light chorus.

Lilith: Featuring Smiso Zwane this track transports you into an Afro-electro video game. Tag, you're it.

Pony: This seductively equestrian song lets you gallop away with it for a while before bucking you off.

Metallic Kiss: A song that magically manages to sound both 80s and futuristic. Climb aboard and time travel, whichever way your heart desires.

727: A pretty little dance number.

Harm: The last track is a beautiful ending to this uniquely creative album and is by far my favourite song.

Come on dive in, the water's fine.
