Laurie Levine signs with top UK booking agent, announces UK tour

BPA Live was formed by Bob Paterson in 2005 and the agency now boasts a roster of more than 40 artists, including Tom Russell, Matt Andersen, Brooks Williams, The Wailin' Jennys, Sam Baker, Otis Gibbs and Blue Rodeo. The agency is now working with artists from varying genres including blues and folk alongside the original Americana acts (www.bpa-live.com).

Paterson was introduced to Levine's music through Martin Elbourne, former manager for The Smiths and New Order and director of the MAMA group (including HMV live, Mean Fiddler, The Great Escape and more). When asked what Elbourne thought of Levine after seeing her live at the Music Network Showcase in Johannesburg in 2011, he simply said: "One of the best Americana artists I've seen live in quite a while."
