New night club opens at the Shimmy Beach Club

"Our guests are in for a treat this season - as Shimmy Beach Club evolves yet again to re-establish itself as Cape Town's top destination for indulgence. The club features a brand new VIP Pool Area, the perfect place to soak up the sun and stunning surrounds with unparalleled views of the glittering ocean. Guests can book one of the deluxe eight-seater daybeds for the day and enjoy VIP access to the luxurious infinity pool.

While lounging on the deck, guests can sample the new Cocktail Menu, which features classic favourites like Sex on the Beach and a sturdy Old Fashioned, as well as new cocktail concoctions like the Turkish Delight or Shimmy Sherbet, all mixed by Shimmy's expert mixologists.

The ultra-exclusive VIP Room, viewable only by appointment, now features a private jacuzzi area. Two eight-seater daybeds surround the six-seater jacuzzi and guests can expect star treatment throughout their VIP experience.

Line-ups of the hottest DJs

The existing lounge area is set to be converted into Cape Town's newest, most illustrious club. Sponsored by Heineken, the Shimmy Beach Club Heineken Deck will feature line-ups of the hottest DJs and keep guests on the dance floor into the early hours with mind-blowing entertainment. Voted one of the Top Ten Beach Bars in the World, Shimmy Beach Club shares features with the world's most illustrious venues, and the Heineken Deck promises to provide a world-class clubbing experience.

A special Summer Menu will complement the long days and nights of lounging, with light meals and Shimmy's famous sushi and pizzas featuring alongside summertime staples like beer battered fish and chips and refreshing combos, including oysters and champagne, on special throughout the summer.
