Off the Rails to celebrate Wellington train station's 150th birthday
The Boland town of Wellington invites you to join it on 9 November, 2013, for a journey celebrating Wellington train station's 150th birthday. This special event will feature an exclusive train ride from Cape Town station to a secret location. Guests can expect to be entertained by some of South Africa's best live musical acts, such Matthew Mole, while indulging in French cuisine with a twist and Malan de Versailles wine.
South Africa's top Flair barman, familiar faces and the odd flamboyant "French" actor are just a hint of what guests can expect to encounter on the evening.
Only 160 tickets are available to purchase for R350. Train ride, entertainment, food and beverage all inclusive.
Guests are to be on platform 24, Blue Train lounge, at 5.30pm for 6pm sharp. The train is scheduled to be back at Cape Town train station at 10.30pm from Wellington's secret location.
