New website for the Baxter

Widely recognised as one of Cape Town's artistic and architectural icons, the Baxter Theatre Centre at the University of Cape Town opened its doors in 1977 to South Africans of all races and today continues to enthral audiences with top-quality, award-winning theatre and entertainment and a remarkable history.

With the surge in online platforms and in celebration of its anniversary, the Baxter has undertaken a complete redesign of its website and offers a fresh new look and feel. The new website aims to provide more visibility and context to productions and events. It seamlessly integrates all elements of theatre's social media and digital operations that, in turn, will help build a vibrant online community and interface between the theatre, our patrons and lovers of the arts in all its forms and genres.
