This Mxit page seeks to ensure that shop stewards are able to get notices of all of the key activities that are held by Cosatu. This site will highlight meetings and campaigns, and also provides updates on the various policies and positions that Cosatu takes from time to time. It is further designed for members to report any difficulties or complaints that they may have about unions, in respect of servicing them.
This is just an additional way in which Cosatu aims to improve services to its members and ensure that it is able to respond to the social injury of workers, working families and the working class. The issues would range from training, job opportunities and worker's rights, to social issues like housing, health care, gangs and drug-related problems.
Cosatu is encouraging all members to join the page and to also get their family members and friends to join this page so they can understand the concept of solidarity and how we need to jointly confront our challenges, as working families.
