EOH's Zunaid Mayet steps down as CEO

NEWSWATCH: Zunaid Mayet, CEO of JSE-listed IT services group EOH, is stepping down as CEO amidst major restructuring and management changes at the company.

Duncan Mcleod, writing on TechCentral, reports that Mayet will be heading up the newly created subsidiary, Nextec.

Ultimately, the new plan will see two independent businesses - each with its own CEO, unique brand and identity, business model, growth and go-to-market strategies - operate under EOH Holdings.

EOH will be the ICT business, while Nextec will provide specialised solutions for high-growth industries businesses. The setup process will reportedly be completed by 1 August 2018.

Rob Godlonton, has been appointed as CEO of the EOH branded business and the board is in the process of finalising the appointment of EOH Holdings' new CEO.
