ICHAF corporate training empowers students
As higher learning institutions are set to begin the school year so too does the stark reality that many people are simply not able to afford the opportunity to further their education. Recently, the Minister of Higher Education, Blade Nzimande, released a white paper highlighting "a strategy that is required to pull the 'neets' (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) out of the doldrums of poverty and misery".
The I Can Help Africa Foundation (ICHAF) Training Institute is committed to educating and empowering the future business leaders of tomorrow by providing training and support during their transition into the workforce and throughout their career development. Founded in 2001, ICHAF is an accredited Further Education and Training Service Provider and registered Section 21 Company providing the requisite skills and development training that empowers students with skills that promote self-sustainable, socially aware and committed society members.
No dustbin
"There must not be a dustbin where we throw away living human beings. We are not only interested in those who went to school, but also those who never went to school but who want to acquire a skill," continued Nzimande.
Zimande went on to say: "Plans are under way to make Further Education and Training (FET) colleges attractive, the Minister of Higher Education and Training said on Thursday. One of the critical things we need to do with FET Colleges is bring them closer to employers."
By providing transformative training courses to those who otherwise may not have had access to an education, ICHAF allows corporates to achieve their CSI responsibilities whilst actively empowering their staff with ongoing development.
Currently, ICHAF offers a range of practical business, leadership and communication courses that focus on in-demand skills that will arm students with the necessary requirements when entering the marketplace. Prospective students can choose from a range of training that includes:
