Harley-Davidson has introduced a new range in MotorClothes with additions to its Illumination MotorClothes range of high-visibility clothing. Designed to help maximise visibility on the road, these latest additions from the iconic motorcycle brand to its Illumination range help optimise safety during even the worst riding conditions without compromising on style.

Harley-Davidson has adapted the first-class 3M Scotchlite technology - exclusive to Harley-Davidson MotorClothes in the motorsports industry - to come up with a product offering the following:

• An Illumination range using the latest and highest level of 3M reflectivity.

• High visibility jackets which are designed to offer 360° enhanced visibility, thanks to Harley-Davidson's exclusive initiative in positioning the 3M Scotchlite reflective material strategically over the clothing to ensure the rider can be seen from every angle.

• The stylish and subtle titanium grey colour (keeping you looking cool in the daylight and highly reflective in direct light) is exclusive to Harley-Davidson.

The reflectivity provided by the 3M Scotchlite technology is said to be visible from up to 170m away, making you five times more visible to other road users compared to conventional road safety gear.

Standing out

Incorporating the most significant riding apparel, jackets, trousers and gloves, the Illumination range makes the most of a range of materials to ensure multi-functional safety clothing, which is still stylish and practical. The titanium grey reflectivity, is exclusive to Harley-Davidson; providing a sleek, subtle effect which keeps you looking good off the road but transforming into a blaze of luminosity in direct light.

A perfect example is the Illumination 360° Functional Jacket, made out of water-proof material which will keep you dry whilst also including safety armour and high visibility features. For warmer days, simply remove the lining and enjoy the cooling effect of the in-built vents.

Team this with the new Illumination Textile Pant with Switchback Technology enabling you to attach it to the jacket via a waist zip, keeping you dry from head to toe when riding in wet and windy weather. The all-in-one nature of the outfit, combined with the jacket's 360° visibility, means you stand out as a complete human form. As with the jacket, strip out the waterproof liner for those drier, warmer days.

For the ladies too

Make the most of the Luminator 360° Leather Jacket with special vents to keep you cool, and removable body armour for when you want a lighter and care-free ride. Multiple water-resistant pockets can store everything you need for a long summer ride, from sunglasses to mobile phones and music players.
