Spa and Salon Solutions launches a new range
Spa and Salon Solutions launched its new range, called Milk Solutions, at the Professional Beauty Convention at the Gallagher Estate, Johannesburg in August this year. Milk Solutions, a South African product, is a manicure, pedicure and body range, and available to beauty salons, spas and nails bars countrywide.
Milk Solutions benefits
Milk Solutions offers a combination of milk and honey for their protecting and soothing effects on the skin. The proteins, vitamins, mineral and trace elements in milk protect the skin, store moisture and induce the formation of natural collagen and elastin fibres. Milk in the form of lactic acid also has a strong exfoliation action, helping to soften and smooth the skin.
Honey is 35% protein and contains over half of all amino acids. Honey also has a low PH balance and therefore a strong antibacterial property, because of this honey is universally valued for wound, external ulcer and burn healing. It also soothes internal body surfaces and has anti-inflammatory properties.
The Heel Peel
The latest innovation by Milk Solutions is the Heel Peel which is a product that assists with removing dry hard skin from the feet leaving them feeling smooth and soft. The active ingredient in the Heel peel is sodium hydroxide - this is an alkaline which dissolves the protein bonds between the layers of the dead skin and causes the dry skin to dehydrate further so it can be removed effectively.
