Morgenster launches 2006 Bordeaux styles
Morgenster Wine and Olive Estate has released its 2006 Morgenster Bordeaux blend, with a 5-star John Platter award, and the second Bordeaux label, Lourens River Valley 2006.
The Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, are blended in almost equal proportions for the first time since the 2003 vintage. This wine is full-bodied and opulent with more structure than some previous vintages. This should be at its finest in 5-8 years and last for two decades or more.
The Morgenster retails at R290 and Lourens River Valley at R128 ex-cellar.
