Rhône-style red release from Rickety Bridge
Rickety Bridge has released an inaugural 2008 Foundation Stone Shiraz-Mourvèdre-Grenache blend. This unique blend of exquisitely interwoven varietals mimics the style of wine made in France's renowned Rhône Valley, attaining a four-star rating in the 2010 John Platter Wine Guide.
It is accompanied in its release by the 2009 Rickety Bridge Rosé, comprising a blend of four varietals, cabernet, merlot and shiraz with a touch of viognier for added piquancy and spice, the 2009 Rickety Bridge Sauvignon Blanc and the 2009 Rickety Bridge Chenin Blanc.
The Foundation Stone retails for approximately R85.00 and is available at leading merchants across the country. The Rosé retails at R40.00 a bottle and the Sauvignon Blanc at R60.00 a bottle, both of which are readily available.
