A Triumph for SA sportswomen

Tri Action bras feature varying levels of support to coordinate with different levels of sporting activities, will ensures their sports bra requirements meet their exercise regime.

Stuart Hopwood, marketing director of Triumph International in South Africa, comments, “We have identified a group of women in South Africa who are excelling on the sports field, and on the road, and we are providing them with product to ensure they have the correct support while competing. The SA Hockey Team will be wearing the bras during their gruelling matches and the MTN Women's Cycling Team, winners of the 2008 Pick ‘n Pay Cape Argus Cycle Tour, and in their individual capacities, 2008 South Africa Time Trial and Road Racing champions, will wear the sports bras during training and in races. They will also wear the company's Everyday Basics range when they are off the bike.

The range is designed to provide excellent fit, function and is advanced in wearer comfort - all of this combined with a fashion conscious design. Various styles in the range are made of dynamic, breathable fabrics that have anti-bacterial and wicking properties.

The company's ‘actiometer' provides a guide to selecting the most suitable sports bra for different sporting activities. Various levels of training or sporting activities determine the requirements: Light: slow walking, yoga, Pilates and free-weights; Medium: stationary cycling, cycling, rowing; Heavy: hockey, netball, squash, running, spinning, power walking, aerobics, horse riding

The bras are labelled with a tag that indicates whether the sports bra is a light, medium or heavy control garment and the size that should be worn for each activity.
