Kulak outshone internationally acclaimed brands such as Grey Goose to win coveted titles including best Superior Vodka irrespectively at the World Beverage Championships in 2004 and the American Academy of Taste in 2006. These achievements are thanks to the meticulous distilling process dating back to 1743. The brand uses only pure spring water, drawn from the Carpathian Mountain natural springs, and sweet rye wheat, which is grown in the Wielskpolska fields.

The distilling process is repeated five times to ensure the distinctive smooth taste. Many of the vodkas found in SA are made from sugar cane, molasses or potatoes but Pravda's rye wheat base and natural spring water give it a distinct taste. The consumption of rye results in a lower insulin response as opposed to wheat, and this is claimed to be a healthier alternative to normal vodkas.

The brand's packaging is tailored to match the supremacy of its contents… Each bottle is fitted with a replica tanzanite medallion, and the whole package comes complete with tasting glasses to put it to the test.
