Role overview:

As the general manager, you will be the driving force behind our property's success. You will oversee all aspects of operations, ensuring seamless coordination between our luxurious lodge accommodations, award-winning restaurant, and versatile events spaces. From curating personalised guest experiences to managing day-to-day operations and strategic planning, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a diverse team of hospitality professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee all aspects of lodge operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and groundskeeping, to ensure the highest standards of comfort and luxury.
• Manage the restaurant's culinary and service teams to deliver exceptional dining experiences that exceed guest expectations.
• Coordinate and execute flawless events, conferences, and weddings, from initial planning stages to on-site execution, ensuring every detail is meticulously attended to.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth, optimize operational efficiency, and enhance the property's overallrofitability.
• Uphold brand standards and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, health and safety protocols, and industry best practices.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, and or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience in the hospitality industry, with a minimum of 8 years in a managerial role, preferably in a 5-star lodge or luxury resort setting.
• Strong business acumen and financial management skills, with a track record of driving revenue growth and profitability.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric mindset.
• Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in hospitality management.
