Role: Podcast Host / Client Engagement Associate
Type: Part-time (Half Day – 4 to 5 hours per day)
Location: Remote / Hybrid — Must be based in Cape Town, South Africa
Compensation: R8,500 – R9,000 per month + commission
Commission: 5% of first-month revenue from clients generated via podcast interviews

Important: Applicants must be Cape Town–based and available during local and international business hours.
About the Role

We are looking for a confident, articulate female Podcast Host to lead short, structured podcast-style interviews with founders, executives, and senior decision-makers.

This is not a content creator role and not a sales closing role.

Your responsibility is to host intelligent, professional conversations, follow a proven interview framework, build rapport quickly, lightly qualify guests, and transition suitable prospects into a next-step strategy or discovery conversation.

You will host 2–3 short interviews per day (15–20 minutes each). All scripts, frameworks, and training are provided.
Key Responsibilities

• Host 2–3 podcast interviews daily with business leaders and executives
  

• Create a warm, confident, and professional environment for each guest
  

• Follow a structured interview framework while keeping conversations natural
  

• Ask pre-defined qualification and insight-based questions (training provided)
  

• Keep interviews tightly managed within 15–20 minutes
  

• Confidently transition qualified guests into a next-step conversation
  

• Send calendar confirmations and reminders to podcast guests
  

• Join meetings at least 5 minutes early to prepare guests
  

• Capture clear notes and insights from each interview
  

• Ensure a smooth handover to the internal sales or strategy team
  

• Maintain high standards of punctuality, consistency, and professionalism
  

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Female, with a warm, confident, professional on-camera presence
  

• Based in Cape Town (non-negotiable)
  

• Excellent spoken English (clear, calm, executive-level communication)
  

• Comfortable speaking to senior executives and founders daily
  

• Able to lead conversations with structure and authority
  

• Naturally personable, engaging, and emotionally intelligent
  

• Disciplined, reliable, and detail-oriented
  

• Comfortable following scripts and frameworks precisely
  

• Strong time management skills
  

• Comfortable using Zoom/Google Meet, Calendly, and Google Docs
  

• Background in client engagement, communications, PR, consulting, or customer-facing roles is a strong advantage
  

Working Hours

• 4–5 hours per day (half day)
  

• Fixed availability during scheduled call windows
  

• Must be reliable for international time zones
  

• Average workload: 2–3 interviews per day
  

Compensation & Growth

• Base salary: R8,500 – R9,000 per month
  

• Commission: 5% of first-month revenue from deals originating from podcast interviews
  

• Performance reviews after 60–90 days
