Jigsaw, an innovative compliance training provider – is looking for a skilled graphic designer.
We are seeking a skilled, intermediate Graphic Designer to join the company and assist with the creation and design of e-learning course content (blended online learning courses). The candidate should have five-plus years of industry experience in a graphic design role, and preferably exposure to e-learning and online course development.
The candidate should be a creative person, with experience participating in the entire creative process from conceptualising, storyboarding and designing a project per the brief. The candidate should have extensive experience working with Adobe suite software (indesign, photoshop, illustrator etc) as well as common e-learning authoring tools and platforms (ispring, articulate, storyline)
Along with their CV, candidates will be required to submit a strong portfolio of work.
Position type: Full time (3 month probation)
Remuneration: R13,000 -R18,000 per month (based on experience)
Location: Claremont, Cape Town (non-remote)
ResponsibilitiesThe core responsibility is to digest e-learning course scripts and briefs and lead the design of the course/programme. This includes the development of blending learning designs and interactions to form part of the broader training course.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Create amazing, high quality designs to form part of our e-learning courses
- Be able to digest scripts and plan for learning based design projects
- Discuss brief with creative director and managing director and create suitable storyboards to govern the learning project
- Take the lead and push the boundaries per project. Creativity is king.
- Adhere to brand guidelines and colour scheme
Requirements:
- +-5 years of experience in a graphic design role.
- Strong portfolio of work demonstrating design skills and creativity.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Understanding or willing to learn e-learning authoring tools (ispring, articulate, storyline)
- Strong work ethic
- Good communication skills and adherence to project briefs
- Creative individual, with a good understanding of branding, colour and design
- Good communication skills a must
