    We're looking for a Java Back-End Software Engineer to help us build, scale, and support high-performing systems that serve real users and real business needs.

    What you'll be building:
    • You'll be creating the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps our platforms running smoothly:
    • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable back-end services
    • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions
    • Develop cloud-native applications running on AWS and Kubernetes
    • Contribute to microservices, domain-driven, and event-driven architectures
    The essentials:
    • Grade 12 (national senior certificate / NCV)
    • 6+ years of back-end software development experience
    • Proven experience building and supporting production-grade systems
    • Strong Java and spring boot expertise
    • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
    • Cloud platform experience (AWS is a bonus!)
    • Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures
    • Exposure to docker, containers, and Kubernetes
    Nice to have
    • Relevant qualification in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or similar
    You'll fit right in if you're comfortable with:
    • Java and Spring Boot, REST APIs, AWS
    • Kubernetes, SQL and NoSQL databases, Git and version control, testing and automation
    • Design patterns, clean architecture, data structures and algorithms
