Software Architect

Our leading South African software company specialising in high-performance, business-critical systems is on the hunt for an experienced Software Architect to join them. They have a strong focus on bespoke solutions and long-term partnerships and known for building technology that delivers real business value

In this role, you won’t just be coding — you will be part of a team that cares about doing things the right way. You will be building solutions that truly scale and perform while planning and leading software development activities for strategic, large, and complex projects

Requirements:

• You’re a hands-on Software Architect who’s passionate about building quality software. You have experience with:
• Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL)o    C#.Neto    HTML, CSS, JavaScripto    Bootstrap (or responsive design frameworks)o    SOLID principles
• Experience with the following is advantageous, but not essential—we value curiosity and the drive to learn more than ticking every box:
• React JSo    .net Coreo    EF Coreo    API development
• You also bring:
• A passion for clean, maintainable, efficient code   
• A keen eye for accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design   
• Familiarity with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Git, JIRA, Azure DevOps, GitHub 
• Comfort working in agile teams   
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• A continuous improvement mindset and the initiative to evolve how we worko  
• Empathy, humility, and a willingness to help others growo   
• A good sense of humour
