50 Years of Hope with “Walking on Sunshine” Fundraising Event at Zoo Lake
The Sunshine Association is celebrating its 50th anniversary with Walking on Sunshine, a 5 km Sunshine Walk and Family Fun Day taking place at Zoo Lake, Johannesburg, on Sunday, 8 November 2026.
The event marks five decades of supporting children with disabilities, their families and communities, bringing people together around a shared purpose: creating opportunities, promoting inclusion and building a brighter future.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, Sunshine is inviting businesses to partner with the organisation through financial sponsorships, corporate team registrations, in-kind contributions, event services, prizes and employee volunteering.
The event offers businesses an opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to community impact while engaging employees and connecting with a cause that has served families for five decades.
Potential sponsorship opportunities include event branding, promotional partnerships, corporate participation and contributions towards the anniversary fundraising goal. Specific opportunities can be discussed directly with the Sunshine Association.
