The partnerships, announced at the bank's SME Day in Sandton on 29 October, will give qualifying small and medium enterprises (SMEs) access to discounted digital advertising services and free export-readiness training.
Through the Adbot partnership, qualifying Nedbank SME clients will receive discounted access to the South African AI-powered marketing platform, which helps businesses manage online advertising and improve their digital visibility.
The agreement with DHL gives SMEs access to its global GoTrade programme, a free initiative offering export education, practical training and logistics expertise to businesses looking to trade internationally.
The programme combines DHL's global trade and logistics experience with Nedbank's banking, foreign exchange, payments and funding services.
Alongside the partnerships, Nedbank announced changes to its SME banking offering, including twice-daily settlements throughout the year for qualifying businesses using iKhokha payment devices.
The changes are intended to give businesses quicker access to funds generated through card transactions, helping them manage cash flow and working capital.
The bank has also expanded access to pre-approved funding through behavioural credit scoring. The approach uses business behaviour to assess qualifying clients for finance, with the aim of speeding up access to funding and reducing paperwork.
Daniel Kaan, managing executive for SME at Nedbank, said business owners were increasingly looking for support beyond finance, particularly in areas such as customer acquisition and access to new markets.
The bank said the partnerships form part of its broader SME support offering, which combines financial services with business development opportunities and access to external expertise.
