Renowned and respected human rights lawyer, advocate George Bizos has been appointed by the Primedia Group as the inaugural internal ombudsman.
Bizos has a reputation that is beyond reproach. He represented Walter Sisulu and Nelson Mandela in the Rivonia and treason trials, as well as the families of liberation struggle victims in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. He also represents the Human Rights Commission and the families of many of the victims of the Marikana tragedy.
