Leruo Foundation's Youthpreneurs Summit 2025 empowers young entrepreneurs
The Leruo Foundation’s Youthpreneurs Summit 2025 brought together over 150 young entrepreneurs for a day of insight and opportunity. The event featured leading voices in entrepreneurship, including keynote speaker Dr. Mankodi Moitse, CEO of Kagiso Trust. A key highlight was the Changemaker’s Pitch Competition, where 18 community-based ventures competed for a R100,000 prize.
Brian Sakara won for his recycled toilet paper brand, Divine Soft, which promotes hygiene and job creation. The summit also launched the foundation’s 10-month Changemakers Incubation Programme, offering mentorship, training, and funding to scale high-potential businesses.
