SGD recognised for export at the SA Premier Business Awards

At the fourth annual SA Premier Business Awards held in Johannesburg, Saab Grintek Defence (SGD) was honoured with the Exporter Award. The awards, organised by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) along with partners, Proudly South Africa and Brand South Africa, recognises excellence in the South African business sector.

The exporter award is aimed at highlighting the South African enterprises that invest in both human and technical resources that produce quality products and services and stay locally and internationally competitive. Up to 80% of SGD's locally produced products are exported and the company boasts a workforce of 719 people across its three sites in SA.
