Save Our Schools launches three initiatives on Mandela Day
Save Our Schools (SOS) did its part for Mandela Day 2019 by launching three initiatives in the Bloekombos community of Kraaifontein. The initiatives were launched in collaboration with Grundfos, Munich Re, and Mountain Falls.
Grundfos employees spent their morning of Mandela Day by installing gutters and water tanks for rainwater harvesting at the Bloekombos Community Centre. The installing forms part of its Community Water Upliftment Project. SOS and Mountain Falls launched the Zeropett Recycling Initiative at Masibambane Secondary School. Munich Re joined the Madiba celebrations at Masibambane school by donating a cheque to Principal Rajan Naidoo.
