Movember 'shaves off' in Durban
The Men's Foundation held two 'shave-offs' in Durban to officially mark the start of Movember in South Africa. For more than a decade and in 21 countries, men have been growing out their facial hair to raise awareness and funds for men's health during the month of November.

Milpark Education raises funds for Red Cross
The Milpark Education staff recently raised funds for the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital paediatric ICU, the largest ICY for children in Africa.
The private higher education donated a total of R20,000 to the appeal for donations, with Julian van der Westhuizen, Milpark Education CEO, matching this amount.

SASKO Siyasizana Daycare Project
In September 2015, SASKO launched its SASKO Siyasizana Daycare Project to assist daycares in Tembisa in receiving much-needed items for their facilities. In five months, 350 participating daycares collected 300,000 SASKO bread bags. To acknowledge their hard work and perseverance, SASKO awarded 1,385 prizes at the first Prize Giving on 10 March 2016.
