Tiger Brands South Africa recently announced the launch of its latest online culinary platform, Add A Twist, at a star-studded soiree at the Cradle Boutique Hotel.
The launch event was hosted by television personality and chef, Lorna Maseko, and was attended by social media stars Melody Molale and Tshepi Vundla, celebrity cook Chef Nti and content creators including Siyanda Bani and Jessica van Heerden.

Gap store opens at The Mall of Africa
Casual clothing and accessories brand, Gap, has re-entered the South African market with the opening of a new store at The Mall of Africa in Johannesburg on 3 December.
The store opened its doors on 26 November and the launch event, featuring various journalists, influencers and personalities including LeeAnne Dlamini, PatOnBrands, TK Matakanye and Lwandile Makhaza, followed a week later.

#Loeries2020 - Day five winners
The Loeries concluded the 2020 awards with Film, Film Craft, Grand Prix, Brand of the Year, Agency of the Year award, Regional Agency Group of the Year awards. Throughout Loeries Creative Week, a total 264 Loeries were awarded across 16 categories, including five Grands Prix, 28 Golds, 63 Silvers, 110 Bronzes, 14 Craft Golds and 44 Craft Certificates.

#FMAdFocus2020 - Triple Eight named Agency of the Year, again
Marketing, PR and digital agency, Triple Eight, has been named as the Agency of the Year at the 2020 FM AdFocus Awards, walking away with the title for the second time having won it in 2019. The agency was also named Specialist Agency of the Year and took home the Transformation and African Impact Awards.
This year's FM Creative Challenge Award went to King James for their 'black lives don't matter' ad for Blackboard Organisation. Other winners include Rogerwilco, who won the Small Agency of the Year, Duke (Medium Agency of the Year) and Joe Public (Large Agency of the Year)....

Instagram's 10th birthday celebration and Facebook's talk "Diversity and Inclusion: Real Talk with Moose" were among the main highlights of Tuesday 17th November, together with Howler's "Data Inspires Creativity" talk at Loeries Creative Week 2020. Other sessions included thought-provoking topics and confronted important issues of misrepresentation, transformation, diversity, and gender disparity impacting the brand communication industry.
The Loeries awarded winners in the Digital Communication category as well as Media Innovation and the Brand South Africa Young Creative Award on the second day.

Alicia McFadzean transforms vandalised Mini Cooper
Below is an art piece by the talented Alicia McFadzean (Cheeky Observer). The vehicle, which was in a burnt state prior to the artwork, was torched on 6 May in an attempt to discourage Sea Point residents Peter and Lesley Wagenaar - the owners of the car - from feeding homeless people. McFadzean said she was delighted by the opportunity to transform the exterior of the Mini into an artwork that is reflective of the Wagenaars' ethos....
