On Friday, 11 October, 2019, Cape Town South Africa hosted the first-ever New York Runway ZA, featuring a collective of designers fresh off the New York Fashion Week Runway.

Adriaan van Heerden has released his newest photographic collection, which commemorates the centenary of TS Eliot's The Waste Land. Van Heerden's interpretation of The Waste Land in bleak but beautiful photographs shows how wealth inequality, homelessness, the waste of young lives due to crime, spiritual vacuity, political and moral failure in our contemporary society are prefigured in Eliot's great poem.

To mark Deaf Awareness Month, MTN enlisted TBWA and Fort to work on a special piece aimed at highlighting the *130*3272*29# emergency number. TBWA and Fort then produced a special track with Lazarusman, which is only in sign language and has a beat that was produced specifically for deaf people. To add to the visual aesthetics, TBWA and Fort also commissioned well-known photographer Lee Roy Jason, who photographed the photo stills that was attached to the campaign as a whole. The video is part of MTN's effort at spreading awareness around Deaf Awareness Month as well as their emergency number, *130*3272*29#, aimed at assisting both people of hearing and the deaf community. The song came with a beat that was produced specifically for deaf people, using production techniques that allow the deaf community to feel the beat in the absence of hearing it....

Artist Dbongz Mahalathi is the winner of The Glass Recycling Company's (TGRC) Art for Glass Graffiti Competition. TGRC created the competition to draw the attention of Johannesburg residents to the numerous glass banks in the city. The top three finalists of the competition were tasked with painting various glass banks in Johannesburg. See the glass banks below:.

An awards ceremony recently held at The Wanderers Club in Illovo, Johannesburg named the best employee volunteering programmes in the country. U-Turn, Momentum Metropolitan, The Do More Foundation, Forgood, and Volkswagen South Africa are the companies that were honoured for its programmes.
