40% DTT coverage achieved in Ivory Coast
The government in Ivory Coast has announced that 40% of the country has now been equipped with DTT signals. The information was disclosed by Yeo Adama, director general of the Ivorian Broadcasting Company (IBC) during a press conference in Abidjan.

“We already covered 25% of the population. Currently, we have installed infrastructure in Bouaflé region. By cumulating the two areas, we are expecting to cover 40% of the population. We are currently working to reach 35 more sites.’
According to the authorities, 95% of the Ivorian population will receive DTT by 2020. To recall, the DTT switch over deadline set by ITU for Ivory Coast is July 2020 and have cost about 22 billion FCFA.
