Cartrack launches 67 days of Winter
With South Africa firmly in the grip of winter and Mandela Day fast approaching, Cartrack has decided to embark on a campaign that will see its branches collecting blankets for 67 days to distribute to the less fortunate.
"We applaud our former statesman Nelson Mandela and the day that is held in his honour globally, however, with temperatures dropping we wanted to do a little more than simply take one day to help those in need, so we decided to embark on a 67 day winter blanket drive," says Cartrack Marketing Manager Jacqui Marsh.
"While we will be collecting internally, we are reaching out to consumers to make their blanket donations throughout the period at your nearest Cartrack branch, so that we can spread some warmth this winter."
Locate your nearest Cartrack branch to drop off a blanket or two, new or used. Cartrack will donate all the blankets received to a variety of charities in various areas.
