Tula Baby's charity drive a huge success
Kim Griffith-Jones, the Robin Hood Foundation coordinator, was overjoyed with the generous donation and explained that the new baby items will be used in their Love The Babies bags which are distributed to underprivileged mothers from AIDS affected communities. "Many of these needy mothers go into hospital to have their babies with not even a blanket or baby grow," she said.
"Thank you to each and every person who contributed to the success of this charity drive. Every single blanket, nappy, baby grow, bib, toy and bootie will most definitely bless a needy baby and go a long way towards easing the plight of disadvantaged new mums," Griffith-Jones added.
Leon Jacobs from Tula Baby said that it was an honour to be able to give back to those less fortunate. "We would like to thank everyone who assisted in making this inaugural campaign such a success and look forward to an even bigger and better charity drive next year," Jacobs said.
