Quoting Busa president, Futhi Mtoba, The New Age says that the outlook for the economy remained subdued with "modest but positive" growth of 2,5% predicted for the year.
She points out that the low growth rate is not going to help South Africa meet its socio-economic challenges and unless the growth levels increase sharply, the private sector will be hard pressed to create jobs and improve prosperity.
