Nationwide strike for Clicks workers
Clicks is facing a nationwide strike among members of the Commercial, Catering and Allied Workers' Union (Saccawu) from 1 December according to Fin24 , which says that the workers are demanding a pay hike of R397 across-the-board.

Fin24 also reports that at this stage management has offered workers a blanket increase of R335.
Saccawu, reports Fin24, says its workers will gather at local union offices for a briefing on the strike and the picket at the workplaces until the negotiations are settled. On 2 December, workers will march to the Clicks head office in Cape Town while in Johannesburg they will march to a local store in the central business district and workers will picket on 3 December before union leaders and members will meet to decide whether to continue the strike action.
